넌 내게 반했어 [為我著迷] , Lee Shin (Jung Yonh Hwa [정용화])is a university student majoring in modern music. He is also the vocalist and guitarist of the band "The Stupid." Shin is known for his good looks and strong passion for music, but in reality he is cold, lacks interest in anything unrelated to music and has neither dreams nor plans for the future. He initially likes Jung Yoon Soo, a dance professor at university, but this all changes when he meets Lee Kyu Won (Park Shin Hye [박신혜].Lee Kyu Won is a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments, especially the gayageum. Kyu Won's grandfather, Lee Dong Gun, is one of the top 3 traditional musicians of his age and his biggest wish is to see his granddaughter become a traditional music prodigy. Trying to live up to her grandfather's expectations, Kyu Won immerses herself in training and becomes a university student who knows nothing outside of her studies. As her friends are fans of "The Stupid", she was forced to go to the band's concert with them. There she saw Lee Shin performing live, and is immediately captivated by him.

C.N Blue Jung Yong Hwa diagnosed with vocal cord nodules

Group C.N Blue Jung Yong Hwa (21) is said to have developed vocal cord nodules, and this has caused a disruption to the group's album recording works.

According to a FNC Music rep on 28th April, Jung Yong Hwa has felt weird during the filming of SBS 'Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate' on 21st April and had visited the hospital where he was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules.

The rep added, "During the rehearsal before the actual filming, he felt that his vocals were locked and he could not project his voice well. But the good thing is that the nodules are just in the early stages of development, hence ther is no need for surgery."

Jung Yong Hwa will need to rest for 2 weeks, and meanwhile all his schedules are canceled. Currently, C.N Blue are recording for their Japanese and Korean album.

Ashes: Really hope Jung Yong Hwa will recover soon!

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa thought his manager was a stalker?

We kpop fans have heard some interesting "idol discovery stories" in the past, from Lee Hyori, who was discovered through a purikura photo, to 2PM's Nichkhun, who was scouted at the Korean Music Festival in Los Angeles a few years ago, then pursued by said scout and forced to audition in a public cafe. Apparently, CNBLUE leader Jung Yong Hwa went through a pretty interesting casting process as well.

On January 27, GOMTV will reveal Making the Artist – CNBLUE, which will explain how the four members of this rookie group were chosen for the band.

It was revealed that, prior to being put into CNBLUE, Jung Yong Hwa discovered online photos of himself at a ski resort, taken by a stalker and uploaded onto an ulzzang cafe. Soon after, someone at school told him that a sachon noona (older female cousin) was trying to contact him. Since he didn’t have such a cousin, Jung Yong Hwa assumed that the person was a stalker and ignored her visit to the school.

A while later, Jung Yong Hwa bumped into his casting manager and discovered that she had been the one trying to contact him at school about CNBLUE. To make things worse, Jung had accidentally mixed up his manager's number and ignored her calls. Luckily, the two cleared up the confusion during their chance encounter and immediately began preparing for Jung's debut soon after.

Unfortunately, we still don't know who posted those shots of Jung on the ulzzang cafe, but since his face is plastered everywhere now with CNBLUE's debut, I guess it doesn't make a huge difference.

Despite their recent controversy, CNBLUE appeared unfazed by the plagiarism accusations for their debut track I'm A Loner on Music Bank.

Even though it's just their second week since debuting, the band has earned an impressive amount of popularity already, as proven from the audible fan screams during tonight's performance.

Their performance may not have been as vocally impressive as last week's, but it was still entertaining to watch nonetheless. They even managed to rank #9 on the K-Chart when it's only been a week since the song's release!

Jung Yong Hwa also sported a new hairstyle with darker roots. As much as I love Shinwoo, I find his change appropriate as he can now be distinguished as the leader of CNBLUE, instead of the character he played in You're Beautiful.

The MCs interviewed the band briefly backstage as well. Jung Yong Hwa prepared a freestyle rap, but ended up choking. However, the other members were slightly more successful as they flaunted their own talents such as playing the flute and performing a magic trick.

C.N Blue dominating online charts; Jung Yong Hwa’s ideal girl is f(x) Sulli

4-member band C.N Blue dominates the online chart as they had their debut stages on the music shows this weekend.

They had their first debut stage on KBS Music Bank on 15th January performing the title song 'Alone' off their debut minialbum 'Bluetory'.

With their debut stage that day on the 15th, the group's minialbum 'Bluetory' went up to #1 on Hanteo realtime chart and also on Hot Tracks real time chart. And on 17th January, it is also up #1 on the daily chart and realtime chart.

Apart of that, the group is also one of the top searches on portal sites like Daum and Nate. There is a C.N Blue fever going on. Already when the group had its debut showcase on 14th January, their minialbum is already moving up fast on various music and album charts.

Meanwhile, during their recent SBS radio show appearance, Jung YongHwa revealed that his ideal type of girl is f(x) Sulli.

The DJs have asked for his ideal type, and he said that all (of the female celebrities) are pretty and he like them all, but f(x) Sulli has caught his attention lately.

CNBLUE debuts with "I'm a Loner" on Inkigayo

After performing their first debut stage on Music Bank, DongGoDongRak Radio, then on Musice Core, the indie band CNBLUE finished off the week with their first debut performance of I'm a Loner on Inkigayo. The quartet's performance was awesome and they seem to be getting more comfortable performance by performance.


Before CNBLUE's debut, many people were calling them "the next F.T. Island." Well, looking at how successful they are with their number 1 ranking on various music charts including, Mnet, Bugs and Cyworld, CNBLUE has proved to us that they can possibly be greater than F.T. Island. What do you guys think?

CNBLUE covers Incubus

On January 15th, newcomer group CNBLUE made their debut performance on Music Bank. On the same day they made their debut on the radio with their appearance on DongGoDongRak Radio.

The boys performed their debut single I'm a Loner and also covered Incubus Drive. The performance of Drive had little bit of engrish pronunciation throw in but overall it was pretty good. I like how these guys bring a little bit of a new sound to the Kpop landscape. Check out the performances below.

After teasing us multiple times and rocking out their terrific showcase, the indie quartet CNBLUE finally performed their first debut stage yesterday on Music Bank. Today, the boys rocked out their second debut stage on Music Core! Check out the performance below!

I don't know about you guys, but I am addicted to this song ever since I first heard it. It has been a great start for the year 2010 because F.cuz, ZE:A and CNBLUE debuted, don't you guys agree?

CNBLUE is number 1 on the Mnet charts

New indie band, CN BLUE, can definitely compete with fellow rookies MBLAQ and BEAST even if they aren’t an idol group!

Along with a great showcase, their song "I'm a Loner" is now number one on the Mnet real-time charts! They have also reached the number 2 spot on the Hanteo charts, which is similar to Japan’s Oricon (a ranking for sales).

Keep your eyes locked on allkpop, as CN BLUE's debut performance on Music Bank should be up in a few hours!

C.N. Blue rocks out at their showcase!

C.N. Blue just released the MV for their debut track "I'm a loner," a few hours ago and they are now in full force!

On January 14th at 4PM KST, they held their debut showcase and performed for their already abundant fan base.

Their first mini-album Bluetory, consists of 5 tracks and the music industry already has very high expectations from these 4 idol rockers.

C.N. Blue will make their first live debut performance via KBS Music Bank on the 15th, so stay tuned!
