Ashes: Although there's many war scenes, this is really a nice, beautiful & sad historical kdrama. Especially the part on Deokman & Bidam.Bidam (Kim Nam Gil) is the only character I 'fell' in love in this drama. I remembered him from the kdrama 'Be Strong Geum Soon' where he appeared for only a few episodes and die in an accident in the drama. Didn't expect to see such excellent acting skill by Kim Nam Gil in 'Queen Seon Duk'Let me do a little intro on Kim Nam Gil (김남길/金南佶). He was born on 13 March 1981, height 184cm, weight 70kg & zodiac sign Pisces. Completed his education in Myeong Ji Cheon University. He was previously known as Lee Han (이한). Kim Nam Gil was admitted to the army camp in Nonsan on July 15 for 4 weeks of basic military training and will serve as a public service worker at Gangnam-gu office according to the selective service system. He joined the army after starring in the MBC TV series "Queen Seon Deok" and after his popularity soared in SBS TV Series Bad Guy (나쁜 남자) which I am watching at the moment. ;)According to South Korean media reports, Kim Nam Gil who is currently serving in the armed forces, will be entering as a student in South Korea University of Foreign Studies Department of Chinese Internet Campus. 시티헌터 [城市猎人] starts in 1983. The South Korean president and his delegates are visiting Burma (now Myanmar) when a bomb planted by North Korea explodes, killing some high ranking officials, in a historical event called the Rangoon bombing (also known as the Rangoon incident). To strike back, five South Korean officials plan an underground operation to enter North Korea and kill North Korean agents. Unbeknownst to the South Korean president, Lee Jin-Pyo (Kim Sang Joong) and Park Moo-Yul (Park Sang Min) who work as bodyguards for the Blue House, organize a 21-men troop to execute the plan. However, as the operation was taking place, the five high-ranking officials change their minds, aborting the plan in order to avoid an international crisis if the mission were to be discovered. The major concern is that the United States will withdraw its nuclear protection if the mission is made public.The operation is successful, but as the troops swim to the submarine which is supposed to take them back to South Korea, snipers from the submarine shoot and kill all the troop members, excepting Lee Jin-Pyo, while they are still in the water. She also copes by way of reading letters to the ex-maid, Yoo Chunjak, from the son of the owner, Gang Geonwoo (Jung Gyu Woon [정겨운]), who studies in NY.It's the Saturday when Geonwoo finally returns. Sungeum comes back from a convenience store after buying a 5000 won lottery ticket and is then fired by Geonwoo who wants grandma chunjack back. Being kicked out of the townhouse, she shoves her hands into her coat pocket and finds the lottery ticket she bought previously. Much to her surprise, she discovers she won the 10,000,000,000 won lottery!

Ashes: Nice! Nice! Nice! This is the BEST Kdrama in 2011 which I really REALLY really like. Cha Seung Won [차승원]'s character as Dokko Jin is so darn cute & charming. I didn't expect he could be so cute & attractive. You'll just simply fall heads over heels in love with his character. And, I still prefer him having his 소 (cow) moustache though. Haha... Cha Seung Won [차승원], definitely a GREAT actor! Last but not least, great chemistry between Gong Hyo Jin & Cha Seung Won. ;)

Ashes: Woohoo! 49 Days has come to an end & I must say this is one of my favourite kdrama for 2011.
The Scheduler (Jung Il Woo [정일우]) is a darn cutie pie while Han Kang aka Han-ah(Jo Hyun Jae [조현재]) just made you 'fall in love' with his character. ;)

웃어라 동해야 [笑吧东海], the drama is about Donghae's journey of finding love and building a family in Korea, his home country that only gave him hurt and painful memories.
Karl Laker (Korean name Donghae) (Ji Chang Wook [지창욱]) was raised in America by his beautiful but unmarried and mentally deficient mother, Anna Laker, who was adopted there. He goes to Korea for a short-track skating competition and brings his mother along in secret, arranging for her to be picked up at the airport by his girlfriend, Yoon Sae Wa (Park Jung Ah [박정아], an ambitious TV announcer who harbours a secret disdain for Anna's disability.
Dong Hae meets Bong Yi (Oh Ji Eun [오지은]), a poor assistant chef, when Sae Wa prioritizes her job and sends her to meet Anna instead. After Sae Wa later betrays him, Dong Hae begins to search for his father, creating a new family and finding new romance along the way.
Ashes: A great & nice story plot kdrama. One of my favourite Kdrama in 2010-2011. Excellent acting skill by (Ji Chang Wook [지창욱]). ;)

Ashes: Ha Jae Bum (Park Kwang Hyun [박광현]) is really darn cute & sweet in this kdrama, I believe any girl will fall in love with such a guy. Keke... I find Pink Lipstick's story plot is better than Temptation of Wife which I highly recommend even though the total episodes was 149. ;)

드림하이, this drama tells the story on how six students at Kirin Art High School work hard to achieve their dreams of becoming stars.
Go Hyemi [Su Ji(수지)]was a student major in classical music but has to give up her dream because of her father's debt by entering Kirin Art High School. However, she needs to get the other two students come along in order for her to enroll the school conditionally. Those two students are Song Samdong [Kim Soo Hyun (김수현)], who lives faraway in the country side and Jinguk, the guy whom she accidentally meet while trying to escape from the loan shark. Yoon Baekhee who once was known as Hyemi's tail, however, becoming Hyemi's rival in the school because of those hurting words said by Hyemi.Ashes: Nice Kdrama. Excellent acting skills by all the newcomers especially Kim Soo Hyun, Wooyoung [Wooyoung (우영)] & Suzy. Heard that there'll be Season 2 coming up so looking forward to that. ;) Loved all the songs that were sang in this drama. Especially this song, 'Dream High' by Suzy, Taecyeon, Soo Hyun & Wooyoung. Enjoy! ;)
