Aaron Kwok’s De Show Reel Concert 2009

Spellcasted by ♣Ashes♣ at 12:44 PM 0 comments
Was watching "Aaron Kwok’s De Show Reel Hong Kong Concert (DVD)" last night so today's topic will be on Aaron Kwok (郭福成), the very first 'important' man of my life. =P Although, my current 'love' is Rain. Oh!!! Let's not forget about Hyunnie too. Hehe. I have been a 'BIG' fan of Aaron since he debuted in 1990 with his ever famous hit, "對你愛不完" (Loving you forever).

Check out this clip which I found in youtube when Aaron perform "對你愛不完" in Singpapore.
Oh my goodness!!! I was only 12 years old then...

Aaron Kwok’s De Show Reel Concert 2009 in Singapore will be held on 30 May 2009 at Singapore Indoor Stadium. Not sure if I am going for the concert although it was recognized by the Guinness World Record Committee in February 2008 for the largest revolving indoor stage but the price of the ticket is also very pricey too. Anyone out there 'volunteer' to pay for Aaron's concert ticket for me?!? Fat hope, I guess??? Hehe... Hope, I will strike '4D' tonight & I will have extra cash to go for Aaron's concert in Singapore. Hehe... Praying... Praying... Praying hard... ;)

Spellcasted by ♣Ashes♣ at 3:40 PM 3 comments
I am going to 'faint' by just looking at these commercial photos of Aaron Kwok that he did recently with Cking mobile phone in Shanghai. I definitely like his manly look here but also missed his boyish look too. Heehee...

郭富城 Mega Hits Live in Concert 2004

Spellcasted by ♣Ashes♣ at 1:39 AM 2 comments
Went to the VCD shop hoping to get Aaron's 2005 live in concert but was out of stock, am so disappointed but in the end bought his live concert 2004 in Hongkong. Aaron is really the king of dance, always smitten by him when he dance & the first song in his concert is 對你愛不完 which was the biggest hit in the early 90s & also made him famous in Hong Kong and earned him the title as one of the 四大天王.
I once went to his live concert in S'pore when I was in secondary school. I bought the front seat which was about $100++ & can imagined I saved so hard for that. My biggest dream is to watch his live concert in Hongkong but why every year I go Hongkong for holiday cum shopping, Aaron doesn't hold his concert. Damn it!
Haiz! Dun know when this will come true, so no matter what, I will hunt down his 2005concert...

I don't care!I don't care!I don't care!
I must have a copy of his dvd concert 2005!

Divergence

Spellcasted by ♣Ashes♣ at 7:50 PM 0 comments
Watched Divergence this afternoon & is about Suen (Aaron Kwok), a rundown cop who once upon a time was host of a cop radio show.

Those were fine days for Suen since he had a loving girlfriend named Fong (Angelica Lee) but she's been missing for ten years, which is the cause of Suen's beaten-up status and the object of his constant obsession. While extraditing a portly accountant from Canada, the guy gets capped while chained to Suen. The killer is Coke (Daniel Wu) an oddly honorable assassin who takes greater interest in Suen than he should. Meanwhile, the fat accountant's death is a relief for a corrupt businessman (Gallen Lo), whose money laundering operation and a fat wad of cash has been frozen by the cops, which obviously makes some shadowy bad guys unhappy.
Suen's zeal for justice or his obsessive, manic personality put him on the case almost immediately. Enter To (Ekin Cheng), a barrister who works for the corrupt businessman, and basically makes a living protecting bad people from the law. To and Suen immediately face off, but sparks do not fly, because To is so stoic that he may not even have a pulse.
Apparently, there's something going on with To, but Suen can't put his finger on it. He's too busy chasing Coke, and just trying to understand what the hell is going on. Coke has his own issues with his handler Ting (Ning Jing), who sleeps with him and could be hiding secrets of her own. To top it all off, there's a string of mysterious piano-wire killings going on, the corrupt businessman's popstar son goes missing, and Suen has just stumbled upon Fong after ten years of searching. Or has he?
Suen is consumed by his past, and his drive to do his job exists solely because he obsesses over his missing girlfriend. To feels guilt-ridden and anguished over helping bad guys, but hides his feelings beneath an impenetrable mask and Coke is a flamboyant killer who takes chances, but muses about how he could have been a damn fine cop too. He's probably the most in tune with his issues, but not so much that he'll avoid stuff that he shouldn't be involved in.

The 42nd Golden Horse Film Award

Spellcasted by ♣Ashes♣ at 12:58 AM 1 comments

OMG, my all time favourite idol Aaron Kwok won the best leading actor.
While accepting the award, Aaron made reference to his reputation as a good-looking lightweight, better known for his singing and dancing than for his ability as a serious cinematic performer. "Beginning with 'Divergence,' I completely put down the Aaron Kwok people expect, to immerse in the character, to be a real actor," he said.
I had been supporting Aaron since I was in primary six neh. So seeing him won the Best Leading actor felt extremely happy for him.
