Golden Bride [황금신부] a heartwarming kdrama that I highly recommend. Jin-ju (Lee Young Ah [이영아]) & Jun-woo (Song Chang Ui [송창의]) really makes a sweet & cute couple in the drama.On the street of Ho Chi Minh, two people stand out in the crowd, Han-sook and her sister-in-law, Gunja, who have come to Vietnam to find a kind, naïve girl to marry Jun-woo.
However, they can't find anyone they like, and as they are about to give up, they are approached by Jin-ju (Lee Young Ah [이영아]) who asks them to take her instead. Han-sook likes the fact that Jin-ju's father is Korean, and decides to take Jin-ju as her daughter-in-law. However, Jin-ju, who is half-Korean half-Vietnamese, has decided to marry Jun-woo (Song Chang Ui [송창의]) in order to find her birth father who had abandon her and her mother as her mother is gradually going blind due to an accident.
But upon arriving, she is faced with the problems of facing a mother in-law who doesn't want to accept her at first and a husband who suffers from Obsessive-compulsive disorder after being betrayed by his ex-girlfriend, Ok Ji Young. Jin-ju managed to overcome all this & eventually Jun-woo fell in love with her & start their lovely family. ;)My Rating : 8.9/10
